Amy Miller

Amy Miller, DVM, is an emergency veterinarian at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte. 

Dr. Miller grew up in Miami, Florida and received her BS degree at the University of Alabama in 1994, her MS at the University of Florida 1996, and her DVM at Mississippi State University in 1999.

She has lived in beautiful North Carolina since she graduated from veterinary school. She has been practicing emergency medicine since 2000. Her interests include emergency surgery and fluid resuscitation in patients present with severe shock.

Dr. Miller enjoys her free time taking care of her horse farm with her dog Carly, three horses and three cats. She actively competes in Dressage with her horses and is often away at horse shows when she is not working.
